Glitterbugg Connections: Mapping Moments of Joy!

Each scan is a ripple of joy. It marks the exact moment a Glitterbugg was shared—whether discovered by a stranger in the wild or gifted to a friend, family member, or colleague. These charts don't just track numbers; they track the movement of art and kindness as it travels from hand to hand.

The Glitterbugg initiative reached 1,532 cumulative connections as of late August 2026, representing a 22.1% growth since late February. While Denver remains the project's primary anchor (408 cumulative scans), 2026 marked a major geographic and behavioral shift, expanding into 7 brand-new US states and establishing active international clusters across Spain, the UK, and France. Concurrently, user engagement evolved from historical mobile iOS lunchtime usage toward Desktop PC and Android activity concentrated during Thursday morning peak hours.
